At Gasserhof, the apple harvest begins from late September to early October, featuring varieties such as Golden Delicious, Kanzi, Sweetango, Envy, Cosmic Crisp, and Stark Delicious, available for guests for self-service. Simultaneously, chestnuts are collected around the clock. This time of year also marks the season of the famous Törggele evenings in South Tyrol, where traditionally a platter with dumplings, sauerkraut, South Tyrolean bacon, cheese, flatbread, and chestnuts is served.
