Emerging on a small clearing with a panoramic view on the site of an ancient pagan sanctuary source between the 13th and 16th Century are three small, nested churches.
Barbianer waterfall
The Gander stream that flows at the Kollmann in the Isarco, has a length of almost 6 kilometres. At the overcome of the height difference from 1510 metres, it falls over many cliff steps.
St. Ingenuin and St. Albuin
St.Ingenuin and Albuin are the patrons of the church of Saubach. It was first named in a document in 1398. Although the choice of the patron here indicates an older age.
Trostburg
One of the most wonderful castle grounds of South Tyrol was built at the end of the 12th century and was rebuilt into a robust fortress in the 17th century.
